Let’s get digital: digital events, online formats and interactive offers of Messe Düsseldorf
After the trade fair is before the trade fair! The first edition of the A+A Expert Talks will take place at the beginning of February 2023, a digital supplement with top-class information from experts from research and companies. The A+A webinars will thus expand the extensive range of digital event formats offered by Messe Düsseldorf. In addition to web talks and magazines, these also include blogs and podcasts.
A+A Expert Talks: virtual offer for occupational safety and health at work
When A+A opens its doors in October, we will once again welcome experts for occupational safety and health at work to the international trade fair in Düsseldorf. To provide them with a platform for knowledge transfer and professional exchange in the run-up to the fair, we are now offering a virtual event. The A+A Expert Talks in the form of webinars with several speakers offer an information and networking platform on the trend topics of the A+A. The online event is free of charge. To take part, interested parties only need to register. A chat and a subsequent question and answer session enable uncomplicated and direct interaction.

A+A in the spirit of networking and exchange – online and on site
In addition to the already mentioned partners Fraunhofer Institut IPA, Basi and German Fashion, the supporters of this digital event also include the German Social Accident Insurance, the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, the Interest Group for Personal Protective Equipment, the Institute for Occupational Safety and Health of the German Social Accident Insurance and many others. For the exhibiting companies and institutions, the Webtalk format means above all a positioning option outside the exhibition grounds.

The broad spectrum of digital events: examples from the Düsseldorf trade fair world
Of course, the Expert Talks at A+A are not the only examples of online events at Messe Düsseldorf. For years, numerous projects of the trade fair company have been able to inspire their communities with digital services in the intervals between their running times. What do the leading trade fair for the retail sector, EuroShop, the leading international trade fair for the medical sector, MEDICA, and the world’s leading trade fair for the plastics and rubber industry, K, have in common? All three have established their own Webtalk formats.
In the “Retail Salsa” at Euroshop, retailers, suppliers and independent industry professionals share their understanding of a successful customer journey. At the “MEDICA DEEP DIVE“, players from the medical technology industry, users from the healthcare system and experts from research and development will discuss current trends in the medical industry: big data, AI, smart hospitals and robotics. In the “K Talk” at K, everything revolves around areas of application for plastics, technological innovations and important challenges for the industry. All three formats will initially take place as a livestream, but can also be watched afterwards as video-on-demand.
Magazines and blogs – the classics of digital formats
In addition to virtual webtalks, EuroShop and K also offer online magazines. With “EuroShop.mag“, you can always keep an eye on the latest news and opinions from the EuroShop trade fair family through pictures, films and interviews. The K magazine, “K-MAG“, also provides the plastics industry with market and company news, topical reports and industry-specific blogs.
The international trade fair for the packaging industry, interpack, bundles news and articles on the topics of processing and packaging with “TIGHTLY PACKED“, which offers insights into the international packaging industry with news, videos and podcasts.
The “drupa Blog” of drupa, the world’s largest trade fair for the print industry, regularly publishes exciting articles online about the developments that are currently moving the print industry – oriented to its main topics of digitalisation and sustainability.
